Dan Villiers is the resident artist
who lives and works on the
premises. Meeting clients is one
of his most enjoyable pursuits,
as he loves hearing about the
kind of art you love, and helping
you find that special piece.
Dan discovered the joy of art
very early in his life, excelling at
art at school and in subsequent
studies. Keen to move beyond
his “comfort zone” he set out on
several overseas stints, where
he lived for several years in both
cities and small communities,
exhibited at local galleries, took
commissions from locals for
portraits and local scenery, and
studied new techniques. He
credits this time with
broadening his artistic horizons,
and becoming flexible and
adaptable in his work.
Back in Australia, Dan set about
establishing his own gallery, and
participating in many significant
art shows and competitions,
taking prizes and awards in
most. His focus is currently on
meeting the rapidly growing
demands of Greenoaks Gallery,
but he continues to have
success in as many art shows as
he can manage. In addition, he
makes a point of scheduling
study overseas with tutors that
he admires, to continue to push
himself to find the best
outcomes in his work.
Come and meet Dan at the
gallery, and have an enjoyable
chat about his work and your art
passion.
